3. Google Sign-In

Peeranimo allows users to sign up and log in using Google Sign-In. When you use Google Sign-In, Google may provide us with basic account information such as your name and email address. Google may process your data according to its own privacy policy.

Who can use Peeranimo

Peeranimo is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at hello@peeranimo.com and we will delete the account and associated data promptly.

4. Why we process your data

We process your personal data to operate Peeranimo and provide the platform experience. This includes creating your account, helping you build a profile, suggesting peer matches, enabling group participation, improving platform functionality, and keeping the platform secure.

  • understanding how Peeranimo is used in order to improve the product and user experience (where analytics consent has been given)

5. Legal basis for processing

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): where you explicitly provide consent, for example for optional future features.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): maintaining the security, stability, and reliability of the platform, including technical error monitoring through Sentry.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): analytics and usage measurement using PostHog where legally required.

6. Profile and self-described information

Peeranimo is based on personal context. You may choose to share your goals, fears, current situation, motivations, and personal direction. Please only share information you feel comfortable sharing within the platform. Peeranimo is a community platform and not a confidential therapy, coaching, medical, legal, or financial service.

Automated matching

Peeranimo uses automated matching based on information you voluntarily provide — such as your current life situation, topics of interest, and personal context — to recommend suitable peer groups. These recommendations are intended to improve your experience and do not produce legal or similarly significant effects within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

What other members can see

Information you choose to include in your profile, your self-description, and the content you post within your group are visible to members of that group. Your email address and authentication information are never shared with other members.

7. Cookies and local storage

Peeranimo uses only technically necessary cookies and browser local storage for: keeping you logged in, managing your session securely, storing essential platform preferences, and maintaining basic platform functionality. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. Analytics cookies are only used with your explicit consent, as described in our Cookie Policy.
